Other Dogs
Once in a while one of our young adult dogs is not able to take on the task of a ‘guide dog’. These are usually dogs that have received good basic education and basic training from their puppy walker, but who are not behaviorally suitable for further training as a guide dog. That’s when the instructors evaluate whether this dog, with appropriate training, is capable of performing another job. If this is the case then there are several options and we’ll consider which one’s the most suitable.
